This hoopoe was watched collecting food for its young. It would sit on the wall and check that it was all clear
to proceed to the nest. I wanted to get closer but if I did, the bird wouldn't move. By trial and error
I eventually found a distance that it was comfortable with.

The nest was within the wall of a hotel. The baby can be seen looking out with its beak open
waiting for food.
