These skuas were seen from the deck of a ferry crossing the Bay of Biscay in September.
They were a L O N G way away - a smudge on the horizon - but it was satisfying to get these small photos
rather than none at all.
The birds are juveniles, so long tails are not evident because they are short and blunt.
