Adopting the 'obelisk' position to minimise its surface area exposed to the sun on an extremely hot day.
The female has a metallic green abdomen, buff coloured at the end. The white wing-spots are very near to the wing-tip.
The underside tip of the male abdomen has a yellowish 'tail-light'. Not visible here.
